                                  Industry Sales Manager

                                What does your job entail?

                                Together with 4 sales engineer, I'm in charge to develop industrial segment for west Indonesia. Focusing on Food & Beverages, textile, Pulp and paper. In line with our new organisation structure, we need to strengthen our existence at  customer  and not only talking about product offer but also to deliver  solution offer, match with customer need. Securing the company target is the main goal and also to achieve  each activity target. Another important task for me as a manager is to coach and develop my team and boosting their competency in sales and technical skill.

                                How do you work to meet your goal?

                                Planning, Mapping, Action, Monitoring. Planning on all needed action, mapping targeted customer, act what we have planned and monitoring the effectiveness of our plan. The other point is to improve our skill to be capable to speak in customer language, to know their applications, and also their business model. Learning from our success to double the turn offer of VVD in three years, we will implement it to industrial segment.

                                What insight can you offer applicants?

                                Schneider has a positive working environment that we will hardly find in another place. Development and training is one of the priority of this company. Schneider Electric also respect employee's creativity in enabling employee to improve and achieve goal.

                                What is your biggest challenge in your job?

                                Today, in this current global financial crisis,  the main challenge is to meet the target.
                                There are a lot of things we need to do to achieve the target through modifying our approach such as: new customer, new contact person, new procedure, and product knowledge. Even our technical competency need to be updated.
